- – Siena: a powerful city-state that became an important cultural and art center during the Roman and Renaissance periods. We suggest a nice walk from Salimbeni square and shortly after the majestic Duomo of Siena. Do not miss Piazza del Campo, one of the most famous squares in the world for its peculiar shell-shape and home of the centuries-old horse race competition, named “Palio”.
- – Chianti area: one of the most prestigious DOCG areas where the Chianti Classico is produced.. Here, along the famous wine route “Chiantigiana”, hills of vineyards and olive groves are a perfect background of your journey. You will recognize the symbol of the Gallo Nero (black rooster) among the countryside and hilltop towns you will see here and there.
- – San Gimignano the “Town of the Towers”: San Gimignano. It is a Middle Ages town that rises on a hill and thanks to its still intact towers, San Gimignano is unique in the world, so peculiar and historically important that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1990.
At the end of the visit, your personal driver will lead you to a Tuscan farmhouse to enjoy a superb wine tasting and light lunch. Your day trip will continue the countryside near San Gimignano for a memorable experience. You will be welcomed at a Tuscan farmhouse by an experienced horse rider that will lead you to a horseback riding in the countryside. The excursion can last minimum one hour and suits both beginners and experienced participants. At the end of the tour your personal driver will return you to your location.
