This tour starts from Michelangelo’s square for the best view of the town and then we will lead you until the historical path to enjoy a nice walk, admiring “Ponte Vecchio” bridge, the streets of the old center and the imposing , and the religious complex composed of the Giotto’s bell tower, the Baptistery and its famous Gate of Paradise, the Cathedral and its majestic Cupola of Brunelleschi. Just outside the city center, among the hills, you can visit the Etruscan town of Fiesole and De Medici Villas. Your journey continues to Fiesole where there is one of the most important Etruscan sight, not to be missed if you want to better understand our history and Tuscan roots. Otherwise you have the chance to visit a villa of De Medici Family, the dynasty who ruled Florence in its best period. The Villas still preserve their splendid Italian style gardens as well as their highly elegant interiors, which include the period furniture and furnishings. The gardens, embellished with grottoes, fountains, and statues, were the location where the Medici relaxed away from their busy court in Florence. At the end of the tour your personal driver will lead you back to the port.
